Born and raised in nearby San Isidro, Jorge received his Business Administration degree from the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica. Jorge also holds Certifications in English, Customer Service and Human Relations from the Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje, one of the most prestigious institutes in Costa Rica.

In 2016 Jorge moved to Costa Ballena and quickly fell in love with the beautiful nature, ocean, and the people of the Costa Ballena. Jorge’s career started out working out as a cashier in the Restaurant Marino Ballena in Uvita, where he developed his excellent customer service skills and was always happy to help other people or provide some friendly advice.

In 2017 he shifted his focus towards property management as the manager of a well-known Hotel in Uvita where he gained valuable experiences in hospitality with people from all around the world. Jorge thrived and was inspired while getting to know other cultures and truly enjoyed sharing his perspective of the real Costa Rican environment with visiting guests. In addition to his property management role with Pico Mar, Jorge also works as a real estate agent in the area with Dominical Property and is fluent in English and Spanish.
