Casa Ombak Estate

The newly refurbished and expanded Casa Ombak is a private luxury estate set within the lush tropical hills of Uvita, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding rainforest. The 8 bedroom and 9.5 bathroom home was designed to embrace Costa Rica's natural beauty, the home combines contemporary architecture with open-air living, creating a seamless connection between indoor comfort and the stunning landscape beyond.

The estate now accommodates up to 20 guests across eight spacious en-suite bedrooms. The main house features six beautifully appointed suites, while the newly added guest house provides two additional private en-suite bedrooms, making Casa Ombak ideal for large families, retreats, celebrations, or groups traveling together. One of the bedrooms in the main house is equipped with two bunk beds (Queen bed on the bottom and a single bed on top), comfortably accommodating up to six children or adolescents.

At the heart of the home is an expansive open-concept living and dining area with floor-to-ceiling folding doors that fully open to the ocean-facing terrace. Whether you're preparing meals in the fully equipped gourmet kitchen, enjoying sunset cocktails, or gathering around the dining table, you'll be surrounded by breathtaking views and refreshing Pacific breezes.

The outdoor living spaces have been thoughtfully expanded to create an exceptional resort-style experience. Relax beside the infinity pool, soak in the ocean-view hot tub, gather around the fire pit under the stars, or simply enjoy the sounds of the jungle while watching toucans, scarlet macaws, and howler monkeys that regularly visit the property.

For guests seeking wellness and recovery, Casa Ombak features a dedicated wellness center located beneath the games room. This state-of-the-art space includes a yoga/ meditation space, sauna, steam room, and cold plunge facilities, allowing guests to enjoy a complete luxury wellness experience without leaving the property. The guest house is equipped with its own cold plunge and sauna, additional to the spa space provided at the main house.

Additional amenities include a billiards and games room, high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning throughout the home, and outdoor soaking tubs in select suites.

One of Casa Ombak's most unique features is its energy independence. The entire property is powered by a large solar energy system and supported by a full backup generator.
